HEADROOM v2.0 - FIRST SITE EVALUATION Scope and records checklist | Updated October 19, 2026 THE DECISION Does this proposed additional load fit the evidenced power and cooling limits over the stated period, and what could change that conclusion? THE OFFER First Site Evaluation: a scoped assessment for one site and one decision, quoted in writing before work begins, subject to suitable records and an agreed supported question. Delivery timing is agreed after the scope and required records are confirmed. Start at https://www.headroomiq.com/contact or prepare an email to inquiry@headroomiq.com. The website prepares a draft; you must send it. Do not include sensitive site records with the initial inquiry. Written permission, recipients and data handling are agreed before records are shared. FIRST INQUIRY: DESCRIPTIONS ONLY - The site question and decision you want to make. - Approximate proposed additional load, equipment arrangement and period. - The kinds of records available and any known gaps. Do not send operational records or a completed engineering package with the initial inquiry. Site type starts the fit discussion; the arrangement, question and evidence determine whether a supported method applies. AFTER SCOPING: RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERY Agree the method, period, permitted use, recipients, handling and who will provide site-engineer confirmation. An analyst maps authorized exports and preserves source references, units, timing and uncertainty. The site engineer confirms the exact-record mapping, applicable inputs, conditions and assumptions; this role is agreed during scoping, not inferred from the prospect's job title. Headroom calculates the supplied case and produces a written finding, relevant limits and margins, source references, evidence gaps and next engineering actions. Technical evidence and replay materials are provided as appropriate to the agreed assessment. The software does not provide external engineering approval or approve the whole project. SUPPORTED METHODS: SELECT DURING SCOPING Natural gas: one grid connection and one already-running engine or turbine on a common AC bus. Exact applicable manufacturer operating points are required; no automatic interpolation, extrapolation or derating. Gas delivery rate and finite allocation use a lower-heating-value basis. Pressure, fuel quality and operating permissions matter. No battery combination, multiple units, startup, islanding, export, automatic dispatch or optimization. Grid/battery/diesel: one grid-connected site, one battery, one already-running No. 2-D petroleum diesel generator and one isolated closed-return fuel tank. Checks supplied profiles, equipment limits, energy, fuel, reserves and baseline protection. Generator net output and external auxiliaries are constant within each trajectory; applicable load and battery changes use aligned intervals. No refueling, startup, islanding, export, extra assets, automatic dispatch, optimization or source-specific charging attribution. Cooling: a compatible native evaluation may include bounded air, single-phase liquid or mixed cooling, with one IT boundary, one air branch, zero or one serial liquid branch and one shared final heat-rejection stage. Applicable capacity, conditions, protection and allocation must be evidenced. No generic immersion, two-phase, arbitrary loop network, hydraulic/CFD simulation or unrestricted campus model. AFTER SCOPING: CORE RECORDS - Site boundary, relevant equipment and measurement locations. - Baseline load and proposed additional-load profiles; evaluation period and other supplied periods to compare. - Applicable electrical limits, reserves and higher-priority obligations. - Original sources, ownership, units, timestamps, time zone, interval meaning, native resolution, gaps and uncertainty. - Authority for permitted use and sharing; agreed site-engineer confirmation of mapping, applicability and assumptions. AFTER SCOPING: CONDITIONAL RECORDS FOR THE AGREED METHOD Natural gas: applicable manufacturer operating points and conditions, electrical output and auxiliaries, gas-consumption evidence, pipeline delivery rate, finite allocation, pressure, quality and protection. Battery: starting usable DC energy, charge/discharge limits and efficiencies, protected energy and supplied profiles. Diesel: applicable rating, net and auxiliary output, consumption evidence, isolated inventory, unusable fuel, reserve, uncertainty and remaining-baseline requirements. Cooling: identify air, single-phase liquid or mixed first. Supply the IT and heat-rejection boundaries, serial interfaces, baseline/proposal conditions, capture fractions, protected service, capacities and uncertainty. Keep three quantities separate: 1. Electricity consumed by cooling equipment, reconciled with the native load profile. 2. Heat removed, with applicable measurement, flow, fluid-property and temperature evidence. 3. Evidenced cooling capacity at the stated conditions. Observed transfer is not a rating. For shared equipment, provide other loads, allocation and net available capacity. Parallel equipment needs an independently reviewed aggregate, not summed nameplates. Confirm transport/flow limits, compatibility, and latent or condensation requirements separately where applicable. Generator and battery heat must be confirmed outside the assessed cooling and rejection boundaries; otherwise the combined conclusion remains Unknown. RECORD LIMITS Bills alone do not establish spare capacity. Neither do PUE, nameplates or observed peaks alone. Interval averages may hide shorter peaks. Preserve native resolution and the documented time basis; there is no universal 15-minute requirement. No control credentials are requested. Arbitrary PDFs or spreadsheets are not automatically converted into valid assessments. INTERPRETATION AND VERIFICATION Power/resource, thermal and overall conclusions remain separate. A passing check does not cancel a known failure elsewhere. Missing required evidence leaves an overall unknown result only where no failure has already been established. Unknown is not zero physical capacity. Controlled scenarios preserve observations and disclose changed assumptions. Comparison uses compatible groups, explicit ties and reviewer judgment. No maximum-MW, safe shorter duration, repeat-cycle, firm-capacity, revenue or operating-authorization claim follows from one finite-window result. Headroom v2.0 has completed internal software verification within its documented scope. Bounded public-data checks verify mapping and arithmetic, not installed-site capacity. Authorized customer validation and qualified external engineering review remain outstanding. Public thermal source data and restricted review packages are not redistributed.
